Easter is just around the corner and the Northern Beaches is gearing up for an egg-cellent long weekend of Easter events! From a gigantic Easter hunt with 10,000 eggs to petting zoos, garden games and live music, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Easter Bunny Burrow at Macquarie Centre

In celebration of Easter, Macquarie Centre is bringing back their popular Bunny Burrow! On Saturday 1 April, kids can cuddle with gorgeous rescue bunnies from Centennial Park Rabbit Retreat.⁠ Then on Wednesday 5 April, they can join the Easter Bunny for a delicious packed afternoon tea with Easter treats, plus storytime and games ($15pp). The Bunny will return for a meet and greet in the Burrow on Saturday 8 April so make sure to join for an egg-cellent time.

Pittwater RSL Family Funday: Easter Edition

Hop on over to Pittwater RSL on Sunday 2 April for an Easter Family Funday! Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon on the Deck with an Easter egg hunt, face painting and balloon animals from 1:30-3:30pm, an egg raffle at 4pm, and a very special car display featuring the legends from Machines and Macchiatos. Plus, kids eat free at the Glasshouse with the purchase of a main meal so you can keep their bellies full while taking in all the fun activities.

Free Easter Bilby Trail 

10am – 4pm daily (excluding Good Friday). Join Buddy the Easter Bilby on a quest to find his friends in the Wildflower Garden! Pick up your map from our Visitor Centre and head out on your adventure and spot all the native Australian animals hidden along our accessible Senses Track. Return your completed map to the Visitor Centre to receive a little Easter treat!

This event is free to attend and is suitable all ages and all abilities.

Eggs by the Lake with The Link Church

10,000 eggs are waiting to be found at one of the Northern Beaches’ biggest Easter egg hunts! The fun starts after The Lake’s annual Church by the Lake service at 10am, so come early and enjoy a day full of festivities. In addition, the community can also look forward to old-school games, mouth-watering food vans and live music.

Easter at Harbord Diggers

The Easter bunny is making a celebrity appearance on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 April from 12pm – 3pm and will bring mini easter eggs to treat the kids. On Monday 10 April, there’s face painting in the Seaview Lounge from 11am – 2pm and a DARE2Trick Roving Magician from 12pm – 3pm. Families can also enjoy a seafood feast on Good Friday or share a classic meat board on Easter Sunday. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere with your loved ones.

Join us for the biggest Easter Egg Hunt in Manly
It’s an incredible day for the whole family, with a range of fun filled activities for everyone to enjoy. Easter in Nature 2023, Centennial Parklands

As the weather cools, it’s the perfect time to get the kids outdoors and into nature. Join Centennial Parklands for a fun and educational program celebrating Australia’s native plants and animals. Designed for children aged 4 to 10, the program offers a guided walk through the parklands, where kids will follow trail maps, spot local flora and fauna, and connect with the natural world. They’ll also enjoy a native Australian animal “egg hunt” and have the chance to design their own Aussie animals using clay and loose parts.
