Get ready to be swept away as the inaugural Northern Beaches Kite Festival 2023 takes flight on Saturday, September 30th. Taking over Apex Park in Mona Vale from 10am to 4pm, this kite-flying fiesta promises a whirlwind of excitement for the whole family.
The sky will be painted with kites of all colours, shapes and sizes, which you can watch dance in the ocean breeze. Those eager to try their hand at kite crafting can take part in kite assembly workshops where you will learn to build your own high-flying masterpiece. Registration is just $3 and can be fully redeemed at the kite booth with the purchase of any kit.
Kids can also make the most of the day with amusement rides, jumping castles and face painting. Plus, a local DJ will be spinning tunes, setting the perfect mood for kite enthusiasts and festival-goers.
In between flights and beats, fuel up with a delicious variety of food stalls and shop for handcrafted merchandise and knick-knacks at the market stalls.
The Northern Beaches Kite Festival is proud to partner with Humanitix, a not-for-profit organisation that donates 100% of profits from booking fees to education projects worldwide. By attending this festival, you’re not only enjoying a fantastic day out but also contributing to education programs that support disadvantaged children across the globe.
