New Year’s healthy eating resolutions be dashed – The Fernery has just announced a dedicated melted cheese festival and the internet is going crazy!
Hard-core cheese lovers will have the chance to experience the ‘Mosman Melted Cheese Festival’ at The Fernery rooftop for a month, starting Saturday February 1.
The menu is an ode to the silkiest, stretchiest cheese dishes, snacks and desserts including the gooey ‘four cheese mac n cheese’ with a rich, creamy consistency and the melty ‘baked camembert’ – drizzled generously with honey, roasted nuts and served with crunchy flat bread baked from the in-house Josper.
The cheese-lovers’ dream continues with the ‘New York Cheesy Cheeseburger’ with grilled beef, tomato, mustard ketchup, smothered with melted, oozy cheddar cheese and the ‘arancini’ coated in breadcrumbs and stuffed with stringy mozzarella!
When the dessert cravings hit, the beautifully constructed cheesecake is the soft, fluffy and flavoursome crowd favourite, made with a biscuit base and smooth cream cheese filling with a side of fresh seasonal fruits and berries. Paired to complement the limited-edition cheese menu, guests can enjoy flowing Lanson Champagne, wine and rosé.
The Festival of Melted Cheese will be running on the leafy rooftop overlooking the panoramic views of Sydney every weekend for a month, starting February 1. Entry is free and walk-ins are accepted.
