After proving wildly popular with Northern Beaches audiences on its last visit, the internationally acclaimed A Taste of Ireland – The Irish Music & Dance Sensation is returning to Glen Street Theatre, Belrose, for four shows only.
Direct from Off-Broadway and London’s West End, the internationally acclaimed A Taste of Ireland Company returns with its flagship production, combining breathtaking Irish dance, live music, humour and heartfelt storytelling in a celebration that is proudly and unapologetically Irish.
The show features an exceptional cast of world-class performers and former World Irish Dance Champions, including dancers from Lord of the Dance, Riverdance and the recent West End cast of Éireann.
For Northern Beaches audiences, its return is an opportunity to experience an international touring production close to home. And if its previous Glen Street Theatre season is anything to go by, audiences can expect another highly energetic and memorable night.

Fast, funny, emotional and immersive, A Taste of Ireland takes the traditions of Irish music and dance and gives them a distinctly contemporary twist. Spectacular choreography meets melodic folk mash-ups, exhilarating acapella tap battles and storytelling that explores Ireland’s history, humour, resilience and unmistakable spirit.
Familiar favourites including Danny Boy, Tell Me Ma and Wild Rover are reimagined for a new generation, while the dancers bring extraordinary precision, athleticism and personality to the stage.

The result is much more than a traditional Irish dance show. A Taste of Ireland fuses modern Irish dance, tap, music and theatrical storytelling to take audiences on a journey through Ireland’s past and present – from ancient history and rebellion to the warmth, wit and infectious energy of Irish culture today.
Executive Producer Ceili Pace, who is a former World Chamption in Irish dance, with credits in Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, says:
“We have brought the show to Glen Street a few times now and the Northern Beaches audience has never let us down, so a return is never something we take for granted. It is the show people know and love, with a new edge to it this year: new choreography, new costumes, new music and more, performed by a world-class cast. We opened the tour in Cairns at the start of August and the room was electric. That is the part people carry home. Two hours of live music and dance, a seat beside someone who matters, and by the final number the whole theatre is in it together. It is a love letter to Ireland, and Glen Street has always been one of the rooms that leans in. Four performances, and then we are back on the road and off around the globe.”

The production has spent the past decade winning over audiences around the world, building a social media following of more than 350,000 along the way. Now, following appearances Off-Broadway and in London’s West End, its flagship production is touring Australia again in 2026 before heading back around the globe.
Despite the remarkable technical skill on display, there is plenty of fun among the flying feet. The show embraces the famous Irish sense of humour and “craic”, creating an experience designed to have audiences laughing one moment, moved the next and ready to dance their own jig before the night is over.

It is also a family-friendly production, making it a great theatre outing across generations.
With its combination of passion, humour, storytelling and spectacular dance, A Taste of Ireland promises exactly what its name suggests – a taste of everything audiences love about Ireland, with a generous helping of more.
