Q Station: Winter Solstice Celebration, Manly
There’s plenty of winter events on at our iconic local Q Station, from the Winter Solstice and beyond!
Join Q Station to honour the shortest day of the year – the Winter Solstice. Experience a day filled with relaxation and rejuvenation, including a sauna on the wharf, breakfast, dinner buffet, yoga DJ session, lunch specials, Glögg (Nordic Mulled Wine) and ice baths.
Q Station’s restaurant and sauna (back by popular demand!) are also open regularly throughout the cold months, alongside their usual tours and museum experiences.

Rise Manly Festival
This brand new festival from Northern Beaches Council and the Manly Business Chamber promises to be the coolest event of the season – in more ways than one! From the 20th – 29th of June, dozens of local businesses will be collaborating with the council to contribute winter events to the Rise Manly Winter Festival, a vibrant celebration of local entertainment, food, and arts for all ages to enjoy.
Highlights include limited release brews and live music from 4 Pines Manly, live jazz and poetry at Desire Books & Records, and the nighttime event Rise After Dark from Felons Manly.

Black Winter Block Party, Brookvale
Awesome Black Presents: The Black Winter Block Party at Brookvale’s 7th Day Brewery. Join them for a vibrant mini-festival celebrating Indigenous culture through music, art, food, and workshops — all free and open to the public!
Featured Musical Performances: Headliners include the powerful sounds of Tjaka, Isaac Compton, and Dobby, with special sets by Elina, Lemonise, and Bow and Arrow.

Beach2Beach Charity Fun Run & Festival
Beach2Beach is more than a scenic run along the stunning Northern Beaches. Since 1994, our incredible participants have raised over $7 million for charitable organisations. Giving back to the community is the heart and soul of what we do. Choose between four different run options (14km, 6km, 3km, and for the first time, a Half-Marathon!), or just come and cheer the runners on!

German International School Christmas Market 2025, Terrey Hills
