“During the day the kids will get up to various activities that includes sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and a selection of on-land games, all of which relate to the water.
Our main goal is to introduce kids to different water sports, develop their skills and water awareness and encourage them to gain more confidence on the water. Kids can start from 5 yrs up to 15 yrs, must already be able to swim confidently! Days are split into 3 sessions with morning tea and lunch break. No prior experience is required for any of our workshops! Our coaches will do their best to tailor exercises to the individual’s ability and ensure there is a good balance between structured learning, games and fun! We’ve recently expanded t creating a more open space and adding in more gymnastics equipment (such as our 8 meter long trampoline). We have now increased our workshop capacity from 25 to 40 kids.

Manly Surf Guide Surfing Lessons, Dee Why
What could be better for little locals? Manly Surf Guide has made teaching surfing their business and in the school holidays they run surf camps that operate from Dee Why Beach from 10am-2pm. On the camp kids will learn:
- Ocean safety & surf etiquette
- Ocean & wave positioning
- Paddling & catching waves
- Control, standing up & riding waves
Good to Know: Surf school is for beginners to intermediate levels, for kids aged 6 to 15 years old. What’s included: 2 x surf Lessons, use of surfboard and wetsuit, lunch and beach games, surf education

Coastal Environment Centre, Narrabeen

This would have to be one of the best resources in the area when it comes to helping kids be aware of how lucky they are to live by the coast! The Coastal Environment Centre (CEC) also offers a school holiday program with a difference. “With a unique theme for each day, your child will learn about our natural environment through a range of fun and interesting activities. This is a great opportunity for children to learn about our environment and how they can help preserve it. The holiday program is suitable for children six to 12 years. (unless otherwise noted).

Pete the Sheep, Glen St Theatre

This hilarious show, imaginatively told by four performers playing shearers, dogs and sheep explores the challenges and rewards of being an individual and will be a lasting tribute to honoring your own spirit and strength, whilst working with the flock.

Wild Ropes at Taronga Zoo

Swing, step and climb at Wild Ropes in Sydney’s iconic Taronga Zoo and wave a big hello to the koalas, emus and kangaroos at the Australian Walkabout. It’s the perfect activity for kids who love a fun challenge. The course can take from 45 minutes to two hours depending on the type of package and path you choose. Alice in Wonderland Sand Sculpture at The Mix Chatswood Place

The Midnight Gang at The Concourse Theatre

The Concourse will be welcoming the story of The Midnight Gang to its stage this April – a play by Maryam Master based on David Walliams’ bestselling novel. It’s about a 12-year-old Tom who unexpectedly finds himself lonely and lost in the children’s ward of St Crook’s Hospital, without his family and in the throes of the evil Matron. But as soon as the clock strikes midnight, he and his fellow young patients realise they can momentarily escape feeling stuck – they use their imaginations to take them on amazing, dream-come-true journeys.
