With fresh modern interiors and a contemporary new menu, this is one venue worth crossing the Spit for!

Nestled within the grandeur of one of Mosman’s treasured heritage listed buildings, Bloom at Mosman has reopened its doors, revealing a stunning transformation of its interiors and an enticing new menu, perfectly timed for the arrival of the warmer months.

Since opening in 2016, Bloom has firmly established itself as a well-loved destination for breakfast and lunch, capturing the hearts of locals with great coffee and seasonal menu offerings. Owner Andy Harrington says the decision to refresh the interiors and update the menu has been in the works for some time.

“Having been a part of the Mosman community since 2016, we recognised the need to develop and build upon our offering for guests. We collaborated with a local interior designer to create a space that effortlessly blends modern interiors with the building’s cherished heritage.”

“While our menu is completely fresh, our ethos continues to be centred around healthy nutritious food done well with a seasonal approach to our menu. We have breathed new life into some of our classic dishes, in addition to introducing a line-up of dishes that we know locals will love,” Andy said.

The all-day breakfast menu presents an array of options including standout dishes such as pea and zucchini pancake fritters, chilli eggs with chorizo, green onion, crispy shallots and chilli sauce; as well as baked free-range eggs with tomato, capsicum, feta and basil.

The lunch menu features a toastie line-up, snacks, substantial salads and mains. Highlights include; roasted baby beet salad with burrata, fig, radicchio, basil and toasted hazelnut; chilli prawn omelette with chives, green onion, miso and shaved fennel salad; as well as roast cauliflower salad with tahini yoghurt, tamari almonds, feta and za’atar.

Another menu-favourite set to be popular amongst locals is the wagyu burger; layered with cheese, crispy bacon, pickles, house-made burger sauce and a side of rosemary salt fries.

The revamped 70-seat venue boasts indoor and outdoor dining areas where guests can drop in for a cup of coffee or settle in for lunch outside under the sprawling peppercorn tree.

The drinks menu is equally impressive, offering freshly squeezed juices, expertly brewed Campos coffee, and an assortment of artisanal teas and milkshakes.

In the coming months, Bloom will further elevate its offering with plans to extend its trading hours into the evening and evolve into a charming wine bar, poised to become an evening hot-spot in Mosman this Summer.

Bloom is open Monday to Friday 6:30am – 3pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7am – 3pm.
