Zali Steggall OAM MP is the local federal member for Warringah. As an Independent, Zali works hard to be a champion of change for Warringah, raising issues on behalf of the community in Federal Parliament including: introducing a Climate Change Bill into Parliament; advocating for small businesses; pushing for more flexibility for parental leave; campaigning against offshore drilling in our coastal waters and highlighting domestic violence in our community.

Before entering politics, Zali was a barrister specialising in family law and former Olympian where she represented Australia at four Winter Olympic Games from 1992 to 2002, and won a bronze medal in slalom at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano and won a World Championship gold medal in 1999.
