Good food, great connections and a night for dads to unwind – popular local event Dinner For Dads is back on…

Local health and wellbeing expert Dr Ravi Rudner, in collaboration with Phil from Ruby Lane Wholefoods Manly is proud to announce the launch of a new quarterly event series, “Dinner for Dads,” kicking off on March 4th, 2025.

“After overwhelming demand and incredible feedback from our sporadic events over the past two years, we’ve heard you loud and clear: dads want more opportunities to connect, share, and unwind. This is why we’re thrilled to make “Dinner for Dads” a regular event on our calendar,” says Phil.

What is Dinner for Dads?

“Being a dad can be rewarding, but it can also be tough and isolating,” says Ravi, a 48-year-old chiropractor and advocate for dad wellness. “It’s not easy to make new friends as an adult, but friendships are integral to happiness and mental health.

“Dinner for Dads is about recreating that kid-like simplicity of making friends, but with great food and meaningful conversations to help fathers feel supported and connected.”

At each event, dads will enjoy a rotating menu crafted by Ruby Lane’s talented chefs, featuring hearty, wholesome dishes like slow-braised lamb bowls, pulled pork belly tacos, and grass-fed beef burgers, with plenty of gluten-free and vegan options available.

Beyond the food, the evening will feature guest speakers from inspiring organizations like Man Anchor and Gotcha For Life, as well as local dads sharing their own stories.

How Wives & Partners Can Help

“We know that dads might not always prioritize themselves, so we’re calling on the wives, partners, and families to help spread the word!” says Phil. “Encourage the dads in your life to come along, unwind, and experience the benefits of this incredible community event.”
