El Jannah is opening soon in Warringah Mall.

The well-known Lebanese charcoal chicken chain El Jannah is expanding to Warringah Mall. Their 23rd NSW venue – and first northern beaches location – will open on the Ground Level near Supercheap Auto.

Since Andre and Carole Estephan fired up their first grill in Granville in 1998, El Jannah (Arabic for “paradise”) has become a familiar name across Western Sydney. Their combination of delicious charcoal chicken and garlicky toum helped them grow from a local shop to a chain spanning Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.

The expansion shows no signs of slowing, with ambitious plans to reach 50 locations across Australia by July 2025. “We want to be the chook of choice when it comes to Aussies and Aussie families,” says El Jannah’s Head of Marketing, Adam Issa. “We’re growing at an exponential rate, opening a store roughly every two weeks.”

With its signature charcoal chicken, tabouli, pickles and famous garlic sauce already drawing crowds across Sydney, El Jannah’s arrival in Brookvale is set to give the beaches a taste of what the fuss is all about.

“It’s healthy, abundant, and there’s not a lot of offerings where at the end of the meal you feel great,” says Issa. “It’s chicken and salad — how much better can it get!”
