The face of Terrey Hills will soon be transformed with an exciting new dining precinct.
The Boathouse group, known for its popular waterfront venues like Manly Pavilion, Mona Social, Barrenjoey House and The Boathouse Shelly Beach, submitted plans to Northern Beaches Council for a $33 million restaurant complex on Myoora Road in Terrey Hills.
And they’ve just been approved – with moderations.
Brothers Ben and Jono Isaac are behind the ambitious project. Their vision includes three distinct restaurants, expansive outdoor spaces, and family-friendly features that promise to create a new community hub.

The development, known as “The Farmhouse, Terrey Hills,” will be built on a 1.6-hectare site, purchased by the group in 2022 for $9.8 million. The plans lodged with Northern Beaches Council show a complex featuring farm-style buildings that pays homage to the area’s semi-rural character.
The restaurants will be housed in farm-style pavilions, complete with a children’s playground, expansive lawns, and a stage for musicians to perform during afternoon and evening sessions.

Each restaurant will offer something different – from casual dining in a rustic shed-inspired space to a family-friendly main restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, and a more upscale dining option for special occasions.
How it will look:
– Three distinct restaurants with different dining styles
– Outdoor dining areas with pergolas
– Children’s play area
– Performance stage for live music
– Large lawn area
– Underground parking for 156 cars
– Farm-style architecture
– Landscaped gardens
For local residents concerned about parking, the plans include basement parking for 156 vehicles. The venue would operate from 7am to midnight, seven days a week, with capacity for up to 794 patrons.

This will be the latest addition to the Boathouse Group’s collection of venues, which currently includes 12 establishments stretching from the Central Coast to Wollongong. CEO of the Boathouse Group, Antony Jones, spent more than a decade of his career at Justin Hemmes’ pub group Merivale.
The Farmhouse joins a host of great Boathouse venues in Terrey Hills, from The Palms and Berkelo to kid-friendly Frankie’s Food Factory and the Swing Factory. Not to forget one of the Beaches’ best Indian restaurants, Urban Tadka and The Tasting Deck at Forestway Fresh for fresh produce and delicious ready-made meals.
