Get ready to experience a slice of Parisian life in Manly!
Le Marché, Sydney’s beloved French market, is coming to the Northern Beaches.
On Sunday, September 15th (and every third Sunday) from 9am to 1:30pm, St Paul’s Catholic College will be transformed into a buzzing French marketplace.
Solveig Coulon, founder of Le Marché, hosted a Twilight Xmas in Paris market in Manly in December last year. It was so popular that locals begged Solveig and the stallholders to return more often.
“We couldn’t say non, so here we are!” Says Solveig.
“It’s a delight and a privilege to bring Le Marché to Northern Beaches,” says Solveig. “We love creating a space where everybody can have a taste of France, have a chat with our foodies and makers, and it’s a beautiful place of human connection.”
For these markets, Solveig says we can expect a mix of Authentic French cuisine, fresh produce, wine and artisans.
“Le Marché is a destination; we are taking our customers on a journey to an Authentic French market (without the jet lag) where people can discover the best of French cuisine and artisans but also experience the atmosphere of the lifestyle ‘A la Française’.”
Of course it wouldn’t be a French market without baguettes and croissants, and Solveig reveals Le Marché will have the largest selection of french pastries and French food in Australia.
“So come along with your friends and family and keep us in mind for your Christmas shopping,” says Solveig, “Our market is also dog friendly; we even have dog treats in the shape of croissants!”
Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a taste of France right in our backyard!
