Easter Fun Fair

easter eventsThis Easter Fair at the German International School in Terrey Hills is all about having fun, while making a difference to the lives of those less fortunate. The Enterprising Kids will be selling Easter bags with Darrell Lea chocolates, which are Australian made, palm oil free, and sustainably sourced. There will be a range of activities for all ages including Easter Egg hunts and Easter crafts. All profits go to Peninsula Senior Recyclers who fix and rehome pre-loved toys. Entry to the fair is one pre-loved toy.

Easter at Harbord Diggers

The Diggers always does Easter well for families. This year there’s a heap of fun events happening across the Easter holidays to keep everyone entertained.

Meet the Easter Bunny, Sunday, April 17 10am-3pm: Join us and meet the world-famous bunny PLUS free face painting.

Kindifarm, Monday April 18, 9am-11am: Feed & pat all the animals including rabbits, baby chickens, and sheep!

Easter Egg Hunt, Friday April 22, 6pm: Go on an Easter egg hunt throughout Major Fun.

There’s also treats for the adults with an Easter Cocktail to try, and an $18,000 Easter Egg Hunt!! There are 10 cash-loaded eggs to be found each day from Good Friday-Easter Monday (*T&Cs apply)

Eggs By the Lake Giant Easter Egg Hunt

The Link Church holds this wonderful event each year at Narrabeen Lake, along with their Church service by the Lake as well. You are invited to join them for any or all of their services/events across the Easter Weekend:

Good Friday 15th April we are holding our Good Friday Service by the Lake – Yes!! Church by the Lake. The service will be held outdoors under a Kata Teepee at Lakeside Park on Lake Park Road, North Narrabeen at 10am. Bring your own Picnic Blanket or Chair.

Following Church by the Lake will be, once again the amazing Eggs by the Lake event. A giant Easter Egg hunt with over 10,000 Eggs, Foodvans and more.. Come along to Lakeside Park and celebrate Easter with us.

Resurrection Easter Sunday 17th April join us as we celebrate at 10am & 5pm at Pittwater Sports Centre for our Easter services. Full children’s program at both services.

Easter Bilby Trail

For a stunning outdoor experience, join Buddy the Easter Bilby at the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden on a quest to find his friends in this beautiful nature setting. You can pick up a map at the Visitor Centre, and spot all the native Australian animals hidden along the trail. If you return the completed map at the end you’ll receive a little Easter treat!

Easter Craft and Easter Hunts

The Nature Play program offering weekly nature themed activities at the Wildflower Garden is offering Easter craft sessions for children aged between 2-6 years. You can make your own baskets and enjoy Easter celebrations. Activities cost $20/child with one parent/carer free of charge.

Eggcellent Easter

Have you heard the story of how the Easter Bilby came to be Australia’s Easter mascot? To find out, parents and children can join in on a one hour program led by an education ranger through the stunning Centennial Parklands. There are nature based games and art projects celebrating Australia’s native plants and animals in the great outdoors. Follow trail maps, overcome challenges and connect with the natural world and their community.

Sydney Royal Easter Show

With COVID restrictions hopefully now behind us, its time to get back in to the greatest Easter tradition, the Sydney Royal Easter Show! Aside from the 392 showbags on offer, there are outback pony rides, carnival rides, opportunities to get up close to baby animals in the farmyard nursery, and watch the strong men and women compete in the woodchopping and sawing competition. There’s also the Easter Show Grand Parade which is believed to be the first of its kind in the world! Watch the best of the best in Australian agriculture make their way around the main arena in procession, humans and their four legged friends!

Sydney Family Show

On a smaller scale and this time in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, there is the Sydney Family Show. It has carnival games and rides, an animal nursery, live stage performances, dogs in the park, and showbags. For $10, children can collect a basket and roam around to collect three toys. On Easter Sunday there will be rabbit hopping competitions!
