Live Sessions at Bucketty’s Brewing Co

Favourite Brookvale watering hole, Bucketty’s has garnered quite the reputation as a local music hot spot. They boast live music 5 nights a week and offer up their stage to local legends and international acts. No music genre is off limits!

Cone of Confusion featuring Mariana Calzada at the Curl Curl Creative Space

If you’re looking for a truly immersive musical experience, this gig is for you! Blending Jazz group Cone of Confusion’s unique “blend of musical curiosity” with digital producer, and visual artist Mariana Calzada’s visually stunning projections, this combination of art and music promises to take the audience on a very memorable journey.

Live and Local at Harbord Diggers

Harbord Diggers Club, with its idyllic headland location, has a long history of supporting local live entertainment. They very proudly host live, local acts every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

DJs at the Collaroy Surf Deck

If you’re looking for somewhere to let your hair down and party on the weekend, The Surf Deck at the Collaroy might just be your venue. They have live DJs on both Friday and Saturday night so you can dance the night away!

The Manly Fig at Seaforth Bowling Club

The Manly Fig has moved around a few times over the last few years, but one thing remains constant – they are the venue of choice for many devoted music lovers. Operating as a not-for-profit, the group functions purely to provide a wide range of music to an audience every weekend.

Element Ensemble Live at Curl Curl Creative Space

Another great win for the Curl Curl Creative Space this month sees the return of Element Ensemble with their show Emergence. Similar to the Cone of Confusion event, this performance will combine music with projected images, this time from renowned local photographer, and co-author of Penguin Bloom, Cameron Bloom.

Blind Eliza at Manly Corso

Local hard rock juggernaut Blind Eliza will be performing a one-off, free show as a part of the Creative Open program. After winning the Northern Composure Band Competition, the young musicians are making their presence felt on the local music scene and proudly describe their music as “loud organised noise”.

Towards Sound and the Co-Operative Orchestra at Mona Vale

If you’d prefer something a bit more classical, a collaborative performance between Towards Sound and the Co-Operative Orchestra may be more your style. The performance is titled “Reinventing the Classical Canon” and it promises to “reinvigorate famous works through an Avant-guard exploration of sound.”

Will Morrison at the Mona Vale Surf Club

What better way to finish off the weekend than sitting at the Mona Vale Surf Club, enjoying the ocean views, and listening to Will Morrison’s melodic jazz music. Find out why he’s been hailed as one the best and brightest upcoming jazz musicians in Australia!
