For those living on the Northern Beaches, the must-do event this October is Hunter Valley Uncorked Balmoral. On Sunday 19 October 2025, Balmoral Beach will once again host the best of the Hunter Valley wine, food and craft spirit scene.
Each year, the event attracts thousands of people who come to experience the best of wine country without leaving the harbour. Highlights include award-winning wineries, a sparkling bubbles bar, handcrafted spirits, cheese tastings and gourmet food crafted by some of the region’s best chefs. Plus, there will be fabulous live music throughout the day.
What You’ll Experience

Taste your way through a distinguished selection of Hunter Valley wineries and distilleries. Labels such as Pokolbin Estate, Margan Wine, Tyrrell’s, Bimbadgen and Brokenwood are among those confirmed.

Indulge in gourmet Hunter Valley food vendors including cheese, charcuterie boards and chef-produced lunch. Sample artisan produce from the Hunter region while perched by the beach.

Enjoy live music by OZGIGS at the Rotunda and soak in the beachside atmosphere.
Getting There From The Beaches
Free shuttle buses will run every 15 minutes from Spit Junction and Mosman to Balmoral Beach, so you can bus it over from the Beaches and enjoy the day without the hassle of parking.
Event Timings and Tickets

The day starts at 11am. Wine tokens will be sold until 4:30pm, the final pour at 4:45pm, and the event closes at 5pm. Festival Packs include entry, a branded tumbler and four tasting vouchers which can be redeemed 60ml wine pours. Pre-purchase your tickets online to save, $35 pre-sale, $45 on the day. Additional tasting vouchers can also be pre-purchased and purchased throughout the day. All pre-purchase ticket holders will also go into the draw to win one of six cases of premium Hunter Valley wine.

With spring in full swing and warmer weather inviting us outdoors, this festival is the perfect way to kick off a season of long lunches, sunshine and good company. It is also an opportunity to chat with winemakers, discover new favourite drops and plan a visit to the Hunter for a cellar door experience.
