SOUTH COAST SUMMER Take five blissful days to disconnect from life in the city and reconnect to the natural world and a new community in the Mollymook Beach area.

SURF AND YOGA RETREAT Meditate, surf, yoga, repeat. Soak up the sun, sand and surf over four days in Gerroa at Seven Mile Beach National Park!

Balmoral Water Sports and the Land’s Edge Foundation have joined forces to create the ultimate holiday program for your kids this summer. Come and explore the beautiful bays of Balmoral and uncover the historic secrets of Chowder Bay with qualified, experienced, and friendly staff. Groups will experience a journey in either direction from Chowder Bay to Balmoral. Two and a half days will be spent at each location participating in a range of exciting and engaging activities.

Coastal Environment Centre ”Kids on the Coast”, Narrabeen
This would have to be one of the best resources in the area when it comes to helping kids be aware of how lucky they are to live by the coast! The Coastal Environment Centre (CEC) also offers a school holiday program with a difference. “With a unique theme for each day, your child will learn about our natural environment through a range of fun and interesting activities. This is a great opportunity for children to learn about our environment and how they can help preserve it. The holiday program is suitable for children six to 12 years. (unless otherwise noted).

Manly Surf Guide Surfing Lessons, Dee Why
What could be better for little locals? Manly Surf Guide has made teaching surfing their business and in the school holidays they run surf camps that operate from Dee Why Beach from 10am-2pm. On the camp kids will learn:
- Ocean safety & surf etiquette
- Ocean & wave positioning
- Paddling & catching waves
- Control, standing up & riding waves
Good to Know: Surf school is for beginners to intermediate levels, for kids aged 6 to 15 years old. What’s included: 2 x surf Lessons, use of surfboard and wetsuit, lunch and beach games, surf education

Swoop Physical Theatre, Collaroy
Swoop Physical Theatre has been highly recommended in the NBL Facebook Group and it sounds like everything kids could wish for. School holiday activities include: hula hooping, juggling, static trapeze, silks, acrobalancing, stilt walking, tight-wire walking, acrobatic jumps and dynamic tumbling. “A guest tutor will be teaching aerials from 12-3pm each day. We also play lots of games and work with each participant at their own level.”
Good to Know: These workshops are for ages 6 and up. Existing Swoop students are also welcome. Circus works best with a wide range of ages! We have children aged 6-15 regularly attending.
– Please pack morning tea, lunch and an extra snack (circus is hungry work!) as well as a big bottle of water.
– Shorts, leggings, t-shirts/singlets are recommended. Please do not wear jeans or skirts.
– Kids will be given 20 minutes for morning tea and 45 minutes for lunch. The hall has kitchen facilities available (fridge etc) if needed.

St Ives Treetops Adventure + Playground
Families have a new experience to explore along the southern border of Ku-ring-gai National Park. St Ives is our newest Tree Ropes Course Park, hosting 95+ aerial obstacles and 10+ ziplines, all suspended between platforms to create a maze of activities in the treetops. Courses start at 1m for little climbers and jump up to 15 metres for bigger adventurers!
Sessions run for 2.5-hours to climb as many courses as you can during your session. You can choose to start on low easy courses or go straight up on a higher course. If you don’t feel like climbing up on a higher level, you are always welcome to complete a lower or same course again during your session. Your session includes harnessing, training and approx 2-hours of climbing.
When you’re done there’s a spectacular new playground to explore as well!
