Big Music Holiday Rock Camp, Crows Nest
If your child has ever dreamed of being in a rock band, or just really likes music – Big Music in Crows Nest is the place to be these school holidays! Big Music has been running their Holiday Rock Camp program with great success, and all the staff are qualified musicians who are passionate about encouraging a love of music in their students. There’s no musical experience necessary, with a course to suit kids of all ages and any skill level! The emphasis of the camp programs is simply on fun and participation in learning to play popular music with other kids!

Kids Up Front Drama Camp: Sing, Act, Dance and have fun! Manly
This January, Kids Up Front will be running performing arts holiday camps at Stella Maris College in Manly. Kids Up Front works with enthusiastic boys and girls to put on a fabulous musical show. These holidays, it’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’!
Good to Know: In the morning, the children rotate in their age groups around the specialist tutors and complete a 45-minute session each of singing, dancing and drama. Each day after lunch, the children perform for each other, showing what they have learned all the while developing their confidence in performing. The program culminates on the last day with a musical show for parents and friends to enjoy!

Kids on the Coast Harry Potter Day, Narrabeen
The wonderful Coastal Environment Centre at Narrabeen is running more of their brilliant school holiday workshops this summer – including a magical Harry Potter day. “We have your ticket booked on the Hogwarts Express bound for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Join us for a day of Harry Potter themed activities and fun. We’ll be making potions, creating invisible ink, testing your Potter knowledge and much more.”

Indoor Climbing, Umbrella Nine Co Brookvale
The newest attraction for kids has arrived on the Northern Beaches just in time for school holidays! Umbrella Nine Co is a family focused bouldering gym located in Warringah Mall. “We are keen on getting more kids into the climbing scene and wanted to create a space specifically for them and their families.” There is one main point of difference with this indoor climbing centre – no ropes! “The walls are obviously lower, and they are surrounded by soft padded mats (in case you fall). It’s fun, challenging and empowering. It is super social and best of all anyone can do it.”

Kids’ Sailing Camp (plus Kayaking, Snorkelling and Windsurfing), Manly
Manly Sailing runs three and five day camps to introduce kids to all the fun and adventure of small boat sailing during the School Holidays. “Our Sailing & Adventure Camps are designed to provide a fun, safe and enjoyable introduction to small boat sailing as well as kayaking on our underwater viewing kayaks, snorkelling, Windsurfing and team building games.”
All courses include an introduction to boat handling skills, the basics of sailing and fosters confidence in boats and water safety, all while having a heap of fun with other kids! “Our aim is to have happy, confident sailors going home with excited tales of their sailing adventures at the end of each day.”
Good to Know: Complimentary early drop off starts at 8.30am – 9.30am with a selection of games and activities before the camp starts, camps run from 09:30 till 3pm each day. In our camps we teach beginners, advanced and teen students who want to improve their skills over the holidays. Sailing camps are for kids aged 7 to 15 years of age.

The kids don’t have to climb the walls at home these holidays! With the arrival of Australia’s biggest inflatable in Sydney, they’ll be able to run off some energy while having the best bouncy fun around. It’s being held indoors at the ICC in Darling Harbour so the whole family can also beat the heat! Tickets give you unlimited access to both of their epic courses including the brand new giant play park which compliments the huge obstacle course. This course is 270 metres long and has over 30 individual obstacles, all joined to form one continuous course.
Good to Know: Suitable for 5 year-olds and up to go unaccompanied. Under 5’s require a non-paying accompanying adult. No under 3’s. Please bring socks and plenty of water.
