What do you wish for? Local Beaches artists have come together to create a beautiful online exhibition showcasing what brings them peace, joy and love. It’s titled WISH – and you can view it online.
The Brush Artists, a group of seven Northern Beaches creatives, are launching a month long online exhibition, WISH, this November. It will feature a curation of small works created with wishes for a little beauty, some serenity, a bit of excitement and an abundance of love.
Contemporary painter Marilou Palazon said “We’ve had a difficult year and I think many people are feeling the need for a gradual easing out of lockdown, the thought of jumping into Christmas shopping is a bit daunting”
The Brush Artists are Marilou Palazon, landscape artists Kirsty Gautheron & Vivienne Storey, still-life and portrait artists Rosie Nankervis & Kathleen Fairweather, painter/printmaker Renay Smith and abstract artist Leigh Vardanega. The collective was born out of a common goal; to bring creative, original, high quality works to art lovers and collectors in an easily attainable way.
Their aim is to make purchasing, high-end art a seamless and joyful experience with customers comfortable in the knowledge that they have a direct connection to the artists.
“I think we all need a little joy this year, so through lockdown we’ve been working on some beautiful art that will brighten interiors and make great gifts” Renay added.
The WISH online exhibition will go live on Thursday 11th November at 8pm and art lovers can contact The Brush Artists via their website: www.thebrushartists.com.au, email firstname.lastname@example.org or Facebook and Instagram to receive the preview catalogue.
