Let the good times be-Gin again! Harbord Diggers’ fabulous It’s A Gin Thing Festival is back for 2025 – bigger and better than ever!

Overlooking the ocean, on Harbord Diggers’ stunning terrace, you can experience an afternoon of sampling some of the best gins available at the 2025 It’s A Gin Thing Festival.

It’s happening on Saturday, May 31 from 12pm-6pm and tickets are now on sale!

Over four hours, members and guests will be treated to eight distinct gin samples and two fresh Sydney Rock oysters or Arancini Balls. This includes a variety of beautiful botanical and Aussie gins from vendors you may already know and love, and others that should be on every gin-lovers’ must-try list.

The event partner this year is Strangelove – the mixer specialists, who offer flavours such as ‘salted grapefruit’, ‘lime and jalepeno’, ‘smoked pear’, and ‘chilli and lime-spiced pineapple’.

“StrangeLove wasn’t born to make drinks that change your life. Drinks that make you hotter or smarter or cure your self-loathing or save the world from impending doom. No. StrangeLove was born to make drinks great.”

As for the Gins – here’s the vendor lineup (including lots of local favourites):

  • Unexpected Guest Gin
  • Expedition Trade
  • Tanqueray
  • Aviation American Gin
  • Gordons Gin
  • Old Kempton Distillery
  • Hang 10 Distillery
  • Finders Distillery
  • Manly Spirits Co. Distillery

  • Never Never Distilling Co.

There’ll also be live music for the duration of the festival, plus giveaways, gin voting, and some favourite gin cocktail specials to sip on the deck. So grab your gals, pals, and besties for the ultimate day on the Ocean Terrace.
Gin, sunshine, live music, and delicious food – it’s hard to imaGINe a better summer afternoon.
