1. Get Ready to Scream It’s Halloween, Q Station Manly

2. Halloween Disco at Harbord Diggers

It’s disco time again at Harbord Diggers! Come dressed in your best Halloween outfit for guaranteed fun and games with entertainment by The Kool-Kats from DJ KITKAT. This event is recommended for children up to 7 years old and it books out fast!

3. Wannabees Halloween Kid’s Disco, Frenchs Forest

Wannabees monthly disco for October is a Halloween Party. Dress up in your favourite costume and enjoy a spectacular night full of fun, lights and the latest music on a laser-lit stage at both Hornsby and Frenchs Forest Wannabees Family Play Towns.  The cafe will be open with a special menu and it’s BYO wine or beer.

4. Boo! It’s a Halloween Party, Manly Spirits

“Celebrate the spooookiest time of year with us at Manly Spirits. Themed cocktails and the biggest costume party on the Northern Beaches. Ghostly treats and snacks available from the haunted Food Truck and spooky Specialty Cocktails from the bar will keep you dancing the night away with a simply horrifying set list from a techno Genius DJ.

5. Spooky Seaforth

“Seaforth village businesses are coming together to host a Halloween Spooktacular. Follow the trail around the village centre to discover Seaforth, and complete challenges, crafts and games for takeaway treats. Restaurants and cafes will also be open for business providing delicious meals when the lollies aren’t filling you up.”

6. Lollypalooza, Narrabeen

“Lollypalooza is a free event for family with primary-aged children on Halloween. Halloween is a growing celebration in Sydney and we want to provide a safe, fun space for families to gather, play, do crafts and of course get lots of lollies…all for free!

Lollypalooza takes place from 5-7pm at Narrabeen Baptist Church. There is no need to sign up, just come! All families will be given a free bag to collect lollies. Kids (and even parents) are encouraged (but not required) to dress up as their favourite superheroes, princesses, mermaids, ninjas, etc. There will also be a free sausage sizzle – so come along!”

7. Halloween Family Roller Disco, Curl Curl

“Dust off your skates and best fancy dress – the NBRG Roller Disco is back just in time for Halloween!! Join us for some family fun as we boogie the night away to spooktacular disco tunes. There will be face painting, raffles, a photo booth, games and awesome prizes! Food and drinks will be for sale on the night. We will also have some skate hire available or you can bring your own (roller skates and inline skates welcome). Please note: All participants skate at their own risk.”

8. Halloween Latin Party, Sugar Club Manly

“Time to dress up for the dance floor! We are going to make Sugar Lounge scary for our special Halloween Salsa Party! Best dressed will win some cool prizes and we will be doing the Michael Jackson thriller dance again! Remember we did that last year? Oh this is gonna be fun! + LIVE SALSA BAND MUCHACHOTES PERFORMING!

9. She SUPs Halloween Paddle, Manly

“Join us after work at 17:30 on Thursday 31st October for a She SUPs paddle with a difference… we will launch from the derelict Manly Sealife Sanctuary (oooooh) on West Esplanade, hiring boards from the awesome team at Manly Kayak Centre (MKC).

We will spend the next 90 minutes exploring the local area as the sun is setting in FULL Halloween costume, spooking the locals (and probably ourselves) as we explore the darkest corners of Manly Harbour… (side note: for health and safety reasons it won’t be THAT dark…)”

10. Monster Mash, Manly Wharf

11. Spooksville, Luna Park

Just for fun head to Luna Park with the kids this Halloween to experience Spooksville! A hub of frightfully fun activities the whole family can enjoy, there is free entry into Spooksville which will give you access to pick up a few treats… or tricks on the Spooksville trick-or-treat trail. Plus! If you’ve got a creative bone in your body, try carving your very own spooky pumpkin that you can take home with you. There’s even a spookiest dressed competition with awesome prizes up for grabs, but your costume won’t be complete without some BOO-tiful face-painting! The fright doesn’t stop there… add even more thrill to the day with an Unlimited Rides Pass and experience rides that’ll keep the scares coming all day long.

12. Halloscream: Hell on the Harbour, Luna Park

“Nurse Brenda is out for blood, and she will get it by any means necessary, even if it means stalking you through every corner of this abandoned mental ward ? Think you can outrun the nurse? Or will you become her next patient?”

Sydney’s most terrifying Halloween event returns to Luna Park! This event is recommended for ages 14+. Unsettling, blood-curdling and scarier than ever Halloscream VII: Hell on the Harbour will be running across 5 nights of fright. With five mazes to explore if you dare…
Yokai: A Japanese horror folklore maze full of illusions, misdirection and taunting spirits longing for new blood.
Outlaw: Set in the 1800s Australian Outback, a gang of dangerous outlaws hold an entire pub hostage whilst trying to outrun the sheriff
Ward 13: A hospital themed maze centred around Nurse Brenda, a crazed nurse on a murderous spree.
Mystery Manor: Home to the legendary Doctor Hoffmeister and his wife, the tale of the Mystery Manor is dark and twisted. Manic inventions, horrifying rumours about experiments gone awry and much speculation lurk in the Manor’s past. Can you brave it?
Séance: A murderous cult has taken over Luna Park’s Mirror Maze and is rumoured to be holding evil seances. A local girl has gone missing, delve into the maze and uncover the mystery.

The three masters of hell will transform the inhabitants of the park to unleash chaos on unsuspecting guests through their ritual ‘Satanic Possession’ This is an opening performance at the start of each night setting the scene for the horror to be uncovered throughout the night. You can also take your costume to the next level at the make up station: Parlour of the Perished.

13. Sydney Zombiewalk 2019, CBD

This Spooktacular annual event began in 2009 and has seen thousands of zombies “dragging their rotting limbs across Sydney’s streets” for the Sydney Zombie Walk, which raises money for Camp Quality. All ages are welcome and the worse you look the better. There will be food stalls with Zombie Treats, a make-up artist onsite to get you looking horrible, various zombie exhibits, competitions and prizes and you get to raise money for a great cause! The event begins in the square in front of St Mary’s Cathedral.
