Trytime Rugby Camps, Belrose

Trytime Rugby Camps are fun school holiday rugby camps for players of all levels.   Specialist coaches work with all players to further enhance their skills whether they are new to game or have played for a number of years.

We place a large emphasis on fun and safety, including coaching the correct body position in scrums, how to tackle effectively, and to be aware of body position to decrease the chance of injury and increase enjoyment and success.

We thrive on assisting young players by encouraging them to be the best they can be, both on and off the field. We promote hard work, commitment, dedication, and respect to ensure players have good habits even when no one is watching.

Balmoral Water Sports Camp

‚ÄúHave Fun ‚Äď Be Safe ‚Äď Learn New Skills ‚Äď Make New Friends‚ÄĚ these spring school holidays!

Our ‚ÄúMulti-activity‚ÄĚ water-sports camp offers different activities throughout the day, including Sailing, Windsurfing, Stand up Paddleboarding, Kayaking and games on/off water, with a major emphasis on having fun, and gaining & improving water-sports skills!

Every day is a different day with changing weather conditions, new games and new challenges. We welcome kids with water-sports skills & abilities as well as total beginners. Our aim is to introduce kids to water sports, gain more confidence on the water, and learn sailing in a fun way. We also really encourage making new friends.

Kids can start from 7 yrs old to 15 years old, they must already be able to swim 25m confidently. We have 3 different age groups: 7 to 9yo; 10 to 12yo; and 13 to 15yo. We will also make sure they are put together with friends on the 1st day if required. Be prepared for a fabulous week of fun and learning. It’s exactly where your kids want to be, rain or shine!

Good to know: Children are to bring their own packed lunch. The program will continue in wet weather conditions. Please ensure you or your child are aware of the weather forecast for the day and have packed accordingly.

Manly Surf Guide Surfing Lessons, Dee Why

What could be better for little locals? Manly Surf Guide has made teaching surfing their business and in the school holidays they run surf camps that operate from Dee Why Beach from 10am-2pm. On the camp kids will learn:

  • Ocean safety & surf etiquette
  • Ocean & wave positioning
  • Paddling & catching waves
  • Control, standing up & riding waves

Surf school is for beginners to intermediate levels, for kids aged 6 to 15 years old. What’s included: 2 x surf Lessons, use of surfboard and wetsuit, lunch and beach games, surf education.

Jurassic World: The Exhibition, Sydney Olympic Park

The Australian Museum is open every day of the school holidays with an exciting program of free educational activities for the young ones. From October 3-8, they’ll be running a Dinosaur Festival celebrating the Earth’s ancient reptilian beasts and the world they inhabited. Bring the kids along for live science shows, performances by a singing palaeontologist, a T. rex autopsy, palaeo illustration workshops, as well as a brand-new Hologram Dinosaurs experience.
