Rising star pianist Winnie Su will take to the stage to perform Beethoven’s iconic 5th Piano Concerto, Emperor

Rhapsody

WSO will be joined by international concert pianist Konstantin Shamray to perform a stunning showcase of Russian Music. Incl uding pieces by Rachmaninov, Borodin and Shostakovic, this promises to be an evening of fascinating and lively music.

Last Night of the Proms

When: Saturday 10 August 2024, 7pm – 9pm & Sunday 11 August, 2pm – 4pm

Where: The Concourse Theatre, Chatswood

Last Night of the Proms is always a beloved tradition, and, under the direction of Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Dr Nicholas Milton, this performance promises to be one to remember.

2024 will be a special edition concert featuring music from the coronation of King Charles III but will also include orchestral favourites and popular classics and, of course, the chance to sing along!

Paradise

When: Saturday 12 October 2024, 7pm – 9pm & Sunday 13 October 2pm – 4pm

Where: The Concourse Theatre, Chatswood

Considered to be one of the worlds’ most beautiful and moving pieces of choral music, Associate Conductor Dr Sarah Penicka-Smith will lead the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and Choir in Antonín Dvořák’s Stabat Mater.

Wonder

When: Saturday 23 November 2024, 7pm – 9pm & Sunday 24 November, 2pm – 4pm

Where: The Concourse Theatre, Chatswood

Young violinist Edward Walton is a true virtuoso, having won his first international competition at just 13 years old. 

He will take to the stage to perform Brahms’ Violin Concerto In D Major Op. 77 and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 In C Minor Op. 67, with WSO in an evening that promises to celebrate the wonder and passion of music.
